- Bert953: $LMT $NOC squeezes extended a bit above the 50dMA but look interesting. Starter position.
- woodman: $LMT - coming out of squeeze in high consolidation.
- DAN: $LMT is testing the early August high. This would be what Bill O'Neil called a "high and tight" pattern. The stock really runs up and then pauses. But the pullback just isn't that deep, indicating that there really isn't a lot of supply at those elevated levels -- few are taking profits. At the same time, buyers are still wanting to buy, and they are happy to get any stock they can. Buying at $540 was better than buying at $560. And now the stock is back near $560 and we'll see what happens. This would be a stock for aggressive traders. I am not saying it is a buy RHRN (right here, right now), but it would be a stock to buy on a breakout...for aggressive and active traders!

Other stocks to watch: Every single defense stock. They are all up too high to buy...but are definitely stocks to watch. Nobody loves war more than Lockheed Martin ($LMT) Northrop Grumman ($NOC) L3Harris ($LHX), Huntington Ingalls ($HII) and General ... - traderbren: @DAN $ITA - yep, I was looking at $RTX, $LMT, $GD, $AVAV ..etc yesterday. It looks like we won't be producing any arms for a long time and funding won't occur....which we know is not the case.

I am still watching the move in $GLD playout, as the monthly chart has a nice C&H on it. When charts start looking good on the long term time frames, you have to pay attention to them. I’m watching $GDX, $WPM, $RGLD, $NEM, $AEM, and hold some $GOLD. Also watching for re-entries on $SMH Stocks like $ON $ALGM. I see a nice base on $TSM. $NVDA is still in trend. $AMD is back to the 8EMA. I’ve also been mentioning Defense stocks like $LMT and $AXON which have started coming out of their bases. Its in a tight squeeze, but there's no evidence that its looking to break out. Also the market is looking indecisive even though the gap up in all the indexes this morning were above horizontal or down trending resistance lines.

Probably giving it a second try with a decent volume move above 39.25.

$OXY,$DVN,$LNG are all in the winners circle, but not really at good entry points. The defense sector is the same way. $LMT bounced strongly after earnings and has continued its upward move. $NOC is making new highs, but reports next week. I would s ... - debeers: Didn't want dupes and had some. So for fert i chose $CF over Mosaic-Sold the $MOS, Sold $AMAT which is a great company so i could keep$LRCX, Sold $CRM because we really do have to get through the worst, and $FCX because too much of it went for new build in housing. NOW- $CF/$CVX and i'll rebuy $MTDR right before earnings, $LRCX keeper, $$LMT no one outspends the D's on defense and every time you turn around they get another contract, $STLD- unlike $NUE- the earnings for $STLD beat whereas $NUE was a big miss IMO. Will be adding some booze soon-probably Pernod Riccard.
