- bill52: @Boogie $CLSK $RIOT Yes, the BTC miners are finally starting to look like they want to make a move higher again. I've been jumping in and out of them but the last number of days have been more productive on the chart so I'm starting to scale back in slowly on any pullbacks. These make some pretty big price swings so if you can catch them on pullbacks whether intraday or just an off day might be your best bet. I'm also tracking $WULF $IREN $MARA $HUT

- bill52: Bitcoin miners having another good day on the coat tails of BTC. I was curious if there was much short interest on these and some have a decent amount which might give these names some extra juice with this BTC run. Here's what Finviz is showing as of today: $MARA 27% short interest (note: ER tomorrow 11/12 after bell) $RIOT 16% short interest $HUT 19% short interest (note: ER Wed, 11/13 before open) $WULF 17% short interest (note: ER tomorrow 11/12 after bell) $CORZ 13% short interest $IREN 6% short interest

- bill52: $RIOT $CLSK $HUT $MARA truly impressive run with the BTC miners today. Volume is incredible. I've been building a modest position with the recent pullbacks, but hesitant to add anything today as these are so volatile. Will have to see if the move can be sustained going into tomorrow. Even that dog $RIOT got into the game today but it scares me anytime it pokes up above the 200ma lately as usually falls down. Hopefully BTC keeps the move up going to give them a tail wind.

- lance1161: @Simar297 $CLSK I trade relatively fast. Have traded $CLSK at least a dozen times or more YTD for very nice gains. Took profits this morning, then bought $HUT for 2 trades today both at profit. I bought $CLSK again today for a day trade watching the BTC price but it never rallied enough for a profit or for me to hold over night, so I sold it. It's at 8 day on the daily which "could" be a good decent entry point.
- bill52: @traderbren $CLSK maybe the miners are going to finally get a crack at a run although it seems it might just be a range trade to their old highs a few weeks back at best. at least a lower risk entry right now to define risk. I'm also watching $RIOT and $HUT. HUT is starting to curl up a bit last few days. just a scalp trade for me for now until they prove otherwise.

- fiebs: @natural $CLSK After watching Scott's webinar again last night, I was thinking about what happens to the miners after the halving occurs. It will then take twice as much resources for the miners to product the same about of Bitcoin. I did some research online and came up with the attached chart. It shows that $BTDR and $CLSK are the best two miners in terms of producing at the lowest cost. On the other side, $HUT and $ARBT are the highest cost. This chart is post halving, so at todays prices, all the miners can still be profitable. I know this is not CMM, but I would be interested in @Scott's opinion on this. Just food for thought.

Scott reported in the Crypto Chat that the Chairman resigned from Grayscale as well as another board member. It complicated but DCG (Digital Currency Group) which owns Grayscale and the now former chairman and another board member are being sued by the NY AG for activities related to DCG and not Grayscale. No official reason was given, but theory is it makes their ETF application more palatable for the SEC

I added more within the flag right after the breakout. I continue to hold all of this and don't expect to sell simply because it hits 20. That said, I continue to monitor this stock closely as I have been during this breakout. I may end up trimming some, but I don't want to be a sold-out bull.

IF it can sustain this level and not top out here, the the chart shows the high 20s-low 30s (late March 2022) to be the next high area to challenge. Just stuff to think about. We'll see what happens.
