  • normr: @Cjauger $NVDA $AAPL $CRWD $PLTR $TSLA $IBIT - Great post...thanks !
  • cmbrick: @Cjauger $NVDA $AAPL $CRWD $PLTR $TSLA $IBIT Well written. Very goog points.
  • joelsg1: @Cjauger $NVDA $AAPL $CRWD $PLTR $TSLA $IBIT True several months ago, but now job market stuck, economy and sentiment deteriorating and stock market crashing. Course correction needed, and Fast
  • Cjauger: @joelsg1 $NVDA $AAPL $CRWD $PLTR $TSLA $IBIT Correct, that will continue, tariffs will put a break on the economy. My hope is that as @Dan says, it is a negotiating game to f chicken. My thought is, it is more than that. Who benefits from lower car prices? The consumer, the car dealer, the real estate that the car dealer is on. The car parts, the sevice department, the entire infrastructure that supports the movement and manufacturing of cars. All the $ that the people in the US part of the industry in the US economy, which includes a big % of the manufacturing side. If the car is $10,000 more, I just will not replace as often, I will drive the car I already own as long as possible, I will buy a used car.. it creates a domino effect. These collateral damage effects once started are very difficult to reverse
  • DavidK: @Cjauger $NVDA $AAPL $CRWD $PLTR $TSLA $IBIT issue I have with your analysis is that relying on foreign sources for many critical products ( pharma , steel , aluminum) is very dangerous . The supply could be cut at anytime . Throw in the side effects of thousands of manufacturing jobs lost over the last 35 years plus . Many small communities are basically ghost towns with Industrial plants gone . What happens next , unemployment leads to crime and drug use . And that’s what we have all over this country now .
  • Cjauger: @DavidK $NVDA $AAPL $CRWD $PLTR $TSLA $IBIT Good points, I would say in any situation of national security concern. Canada would have our back. You are right about the decline in manufacturing jobs. Those jobs ar eforever gone, not because of China, but rather because of automation. Here is an interesting statistic. The number of jobs lost to automation by 2030 in the US is set to reach 73 million. (Forbes). Look at videos of a Tesla factory. And which country has the most manufacturing robots? 14 million robots could exist in China, making it the country with the highest level of manufacturing automation.
  • Cjauger: ...
The United States leads the world in every new and relevant technology. $NVDA, $AAPL, $CRWD, $PLTR, $TSLA, $IBIT, Crypto. We trade these, they were firing on all cylinders.

My hope is that president Trump, listens to our CEOs. And most importantly ...
  • kingtug13: $CRWD - Catching a bid- dead cat bounce?
  • joelsg1: $CRWD Below 200d, trimmed and rolled short puts to $300. Posted about political crosshairs as they uncovered Russian hack of DNC 9 years ago. No doubt announced cessation of cyber activities against Russia affects their business, and they'll have to be even more secretive about private contracts to avoid petulant blowback against them and their customers.
  • beld: $crwd Using crwd as an example. advice: I am a longterm investor but my weekly moving averages are near or below what I use as my red line, i.e. 30 week moving average. The obvious answer is stick to your discipline but the market is a bit wild. I can stand the swings but don't want to be left in the cold. Have trimmed positons already. Ideas? Thank you
  • joelsg1: @beld $crwd Political risk, see earlier posts.
  • camaro69: $CRWD above yesterdays high
  • ZMan2: @joelsg1 $CRWD was up 17% going into earnings. Now only up 6% so I decided to step aside and see if the dust settles.
  • Henry: $CRWD hit 353 in pm, now 358
  • Motorman: @Henry $CRWD Also yesterday in AH. 200day at 333. Which is close to Jan low 336.
  • Henry: @Motorman $CRWD It fizzled; getting close to support
  • joelsg1: $MRVL E tonight, implied move about $9. Regarded by some as the 'poor man's $NVDA' and has been down 7 consecutive weeks into E which might set up a pop off 200d. Normally I might play call spreads over E, but it's the end of their year and while I think they beat, like $CRWD they might sandbag new year's guide to make it easier to beat/raise as the year progresses. NP. I do have posted call spreads on $NVDA into their big developers' conference in 2 weeks.
  • joelsg1: @Motorman $CRWD CEO Kurtz on with booster Cramer tonight. Typical sandbagged guide tanked stock post-E, but as I said in political crosshairs. Apparently, increased taxes tanked guide.
  • camaro69: $CRWD above it's open
  • joelsg1: @camaro69 $CRWD And back within that $32 implied move from yesterday.
  • Motorman: @joelsg1 $CRWD Got out a few weeks ago to book profits. Now looking to re enter. Thought it would got to 200 day, 333, but turned at 343. What levels do you think would be go to start a position? or $PANW better?
  • joelsg1: @Motorman $CRWD $PANW I think $350-360 for $CRWD, but I'm concerned about the political angle, which I posted about. Apparently, the problem was with their light guide, which was due to estimated increased taxes. $PANW is larger and should be the benerficiary of any more $CRWD problems, and I think off the 200d, almost there earlier today.
  • Motorman: @joelsg1 $CRWD $PANW Thanks. $PANW seems to do well off 200day, will start a small position there. On $CRWD, Once a stock reaches the expected move, is that a buy signal or sell or neither?
  • joelsg1: @Motorman $CRWD $PANW From what I learned here, expect a mathematical snap back st to within the move from outside it. Happened today for at least $10, but I was in long from below and held through without adding so I guess I took that trade.
  • Motorman: @joelsg1 $CRWD $PANW Thank you. I saw the initial drop and was tempted to make trade but held off. Appreciate your explanation.
  • joelsg1: $CRWD E tonight, implied move about $32. Still long from below and I expect a beat, but not playing through E because company in political crosshairs for doing its job and uncovering Russian hack of DNC in 2016. Pathetic reality.
  • ZMan2: $CRWD RP Tue Mar 4th after the bell. Lg since 10-2024. I have cushion holding over earnings.
  • joelsg1: $CRWD Bouncing off $380 support, no doubt buoyed by analyst upgrades into E next Tues., Cantor to $440, JPM to $450. Implied move into next Friday about $32.
  • kenb: $CRWD $PANW rebounding nicely. Am afraid to add to any positions in this heavy market and will wait for more direction.
  • billyzeke: $CRWD Nice bounce off the 50 day this morning, hate that I missed that one.
  • Nepenthe: @billyzeke $CRWD Earnings tomorrow. I got stopped out last Friday, and decided not to get back in. Cheers.
  • billyzeke: @Nepenthe $CRWD I sold the last I had of it last week, I would have liked to have made a trade on that bounce today though. Is earnings tomorrow? Think or Swim shows earnings on March 4th.
  • joelsg1: @billyzeke $CRWD The drop on a bogus and small money Fed investigation changed the narrative, though the Fed target remains. It's going to take time to overcome that and restore confidence, so maybe dead money for awhile. Still the best cybersecurity and gaining on the largest by mkt cap $PANW. Remember it just doubled-plus past 7 months. First box $375-450. E 3/4.
  • Nepenthe: @billyzeke $CRWD Many apologies. You are correct, 3/4. When I first checked with Earnings Whisper, the unconfirmed date was 2/25 which I wrote down on my calendar, and I forget to make the notation on it. My bad. Cheers.
  • billyzeke: @joelsg1 $CRWD $PANW I agree, will definitely be watching it for re-entry. I'm sure I had some low price alerts set on it as I usually try to keep alerts near the moving averages of stocks I like but I had so many alerts going off to the downside this morning I couldn't keep up with them.
  • Henry: $CRWD SEC Probe on Carahsoft Deal. I don't know what that is but it overrules a RBC pt to $495
  • Henry: $CRWD #long Carahsoft Technology Corp. has a significant business relationship with CrowdStrike, a leading cybersecurity company, centered around distributing CrowdStrike’s products and services to government agencies. As a trusted IT solutio ...
  • Henry: $CRWD I should have documented that was from GROK
  • joelsg1: @Henry $CRWD Every governmental action now has to be viewed with political lens, and $CRWD was instrumental in exposing Russian interference in US elections in past cycles and generally. This old resurrected and seemingly minor story fits that frame.
  • Nepenthe: $CRWD All my positions, stocks and indices, are breaking their 8ema, and approaching their 21ma. Hate days like this. I know, normal, but still...cheers.
  • Ilovegolf: @Nepenthe $CRWD mama said……
  • billyzeke: I re-opened a few positions on this dip in some stocks I had recently sold or took partial profits on. Right now they are all working but I consider them just rentals, we'll see if I want to continue to own them overnight as the day goes on. $CRWD bought back some shares that I had recently sold. $FNGU sold early this morning and bought it back lower $PLTR and $SMCI sold both yesterday, bought back this morning $TEM deciced to take another chance on the Paul and Nancy trade
  • joelsg1: @billyzeke $CRWD $FNGU $PLTR $SMCI $TEM Pelosi disclosed 1/26 LEAPs in $TEM at $20 strike, so this $15 pb almost nothing.
  • Bert953: #MrMarket seems to be fairly weak this morning. Snugged up stops and $AAPL $CRWD $COST $RSI $META got taken out to protect some meager profits. $TEM was already purged Friday. Just banging thru charts, I noticed that there are quite a few well known names languishing below the 50dMA. Others are just flirting with the 50. Of course there are many well above the 50 too, but it just struck me how many were below. As I write this, I see that $DIA $SPY and $QQQ gapped and crapped. Though the $SPY is hovering just above Friday's close. Interestingly, $IWM is well above the opening print and looks strongest for today. Since I'm not feeling the love, I'm gonna walk away.... Here's some music to lighten the mood - enjoy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QmneugiD7Ig
  • joelsg1: $CRWD Another new high this am, but $PANW E tonight, implied move about $14.50 and both will trade off results, long both.
  • woodman: @joelsg1 $CRWD $PANW - $FTNT sold off then bounced right back. It has held up pretty well since then in high consolidation. Perhaps a guide for how others will act, but who knows.
  • joelsg1: @woodman $CRWD $PANW $FTNT Thesis intact: Mo data, Mo cybersecurity.
  • joelsg1: @joelsg1 $CRWD $PANW $FTNT And Sailpoint IPO now.
  • ZMan2: @woodman I hold $CYBR & $CRWD. Swapped $PANW for $CYBR because the CEO always seems to have to come on CNBC and clarify info put out during the ER call that should have been clarified during the ER call. Currently up 50% in $CYBR.
  • Cjauger: $CRWD continues to move higher. My largest position after taking profits on half of $APP. $AAP has been a monster stock
  • billyzeke: @Cjauger $CRWD $APP $AAP I'm up nearly 28% on $CRWD, I think I gotta take some profits here near 450.
  • joelsg1: $CRWD 8 days in a row above the 8d, can it continue after $PANW E tonight?
  • billyzeke: @joelsg1 $CRWD $PANW Probably, but I had to take some profits before the close just in case it doesn't.
  • joelsg1: $CRWD ATH-L.
  • joelsg1: $CRWD Green and ATH earlier before $PANW E Thursday. Keybanc to $480.
  • joelsg1: @woodman $FTNT Jumping into $CRWD spreads on pbs to $425, and large long from now way below.
  • joelsg1: @woodman $FTNT Decent results but cautious Q1 guide (like most companies so they can beat and raise throughout year). They spoke of strength in their main firewall upgrade biz. Waiting for this to report before adding to $CRWD seems too cautious, now need it to pb to at least $420 to add.
  • joelsg1: $CRWD ATH. Long but testing my patience to add depending on $FTNT E tonight.
  • Nepenthe: @joelsg1 $CRWD $FTNT Earnings seem good. Up 8% after hours. NP, but have large position in $CRWD. Cheers.
  • joelsg1: $FTNT Kicks off the cybersecurity E tomorrow, implied move about $10, want to add to $CRWD but waiting for reaction to these E to add.
  • woodman: @joelsg1 $FTNT $CRWD - I have some FTNT.
  • joelsg1: @woodman $FTNT $CRWD I know you do. I actually worked up a sweat with $BBAI which is still going( does that count for steps?), gotta take that shower.
  • woodman: @joelsg1 $FTNT $CRWD $BBAI - I think it couts for Hall of Fame
  • joelsg1: @woodman $FTNT $CRWD $BBAI TY. Usually when I post something I see the move has crested, but not that one :)
  • scottrades: $CRWD Still going.
  • joelsg1: $CRWD Added Mar. $400-450 call spreads.
  • Cjauger: Sold half of all my positions. These are my main 3: $CRWD, $APP, and $PLTR. hate to do it as these charts look good. All the stocks I sold are going further red after hours. Sorry did not mean to send markets down
  • Max115: $CRWD
  • romanalexk: $CRWD is finally perking up.
  • Cjauger: $CRWD breaking out
  • Henry: @Cjauger $CRWD yes sir!
  • romanalexk: @Cjauger $CRWD Hopefully It will hit ATH today.
  • Motorman: $CRWD Approaching July high. up 25
  • woodman: #Cybersecurity moving well today. Not only $CRWD. Also, $CYBR (which has been a winner) and $PANW. Nice set up in $FTNT, too.
  • Cjauger: @woodman $CRWD $CYBR $PANW $FTNT #Cybersecurity large hourly volume for on $CRWD
  • woodman: @Cjauger $CRWD $CYBR $PANW $FTNT #Cybersecurity - what juiced CRWD?
  • joelsg1: @woodman $CRWD $CYBR $PANW $FTNT #Cybersecurity $BTQQF too, quantum security.
  • ZMan2: $CRWD & $RDDT at 52 week high.
  • scottrades: Beauty move in $CRWD Playing out as I had hoped and mentioned in my Video the other day.
  • scottrades: My notes: $SPY FOMC Tomorrow $QQQ FOMC Tomorrow $IWM Just under the 50 Day $IWF Support at the 50 Day $GLD Holding in trend $IBIT Low Volume pullback. Still ok $SMH Trying to firm up $XLF Still good $IGV Clear rotation into Software $NVDA Great close $SPOT Earnings Next Week $APP Still above the 50 Day $CRWD Breaking out $GLBE Good close, some selling into EOD $DDOG Earnings Feb 13 $GDDY Thanks to Woodman in the forum $WIX Good volume $LRN on the ATL Reported after the bell $BURL Still basing $ARKK At the 21 EMA $FNGU Leveraged Mag7
  • joelsg1: $CRWD Crazy action this morning first thing dropped to the 20d but now green for a $20 gain. Saw it but too busy with DeepSeek to capitalize to add to Long.
  • Cjauger: $CRWD at HOD, $NVDA at LOD
  • scottrades: $CRWD is holding up here.
  • billyzeke: @scottrades $CRWD Bought small on the dip down to 350 on the 17th, looking to add if it breaks out.
  • Cjauger: @scottrades $CRWD bought it today, on my screens after you pointed it out yesterday. Thank you @scottrades
  • Nepenthe: $CRWD Would like to think it's getting ready to make a move. One aspect I like is that earnings aren't until late Feb. (unconfirmed for the 25th by Earnings Whispers) whereas many others with break out potential have earnings coming up sooner. Thoughts? Cheers.
  • joelsg1: @Nepenthe $CRWD Schwab shows E 3/4. Long for awhile and nailed that near $200 bottom but it's run alot since.
  • Nepenthe: @joelsg1 $CRWD Wish I had had the foresight then! I have a position for a possible run with a short leash--8ema--and should it reach 389, I'll either add if it breaks above, or ditch if it falters. Thanks. Cheers.
  • scottrades: My notes: $SPY Just under the highs $QQQ Just under the highs $IWM Under the 50 Day $GLD Extended off the MAs $GDX Watch for a PB $IBIT Just under the highs $SMH In the July gap $DXY Above the 50 $TNX No rate cut till June $MSFT Earnings next week $AAPL Trying to hold the 200 Day $CRWD Buyable $ANET Breaking out $AMZN Breaking out $NVDA Above the MAs but running into supply $COIN Around the 50 Day $MSTR Earnings coming up $WMT Watch 94.30 $SN Watch for a move over 112 $AEM Working $CORZ Above the 50 Day
  • joelsg1: @woodman $FTNT $FTNT E then 2 weeks later $PANW 2/20 and finally $CRWD 2 weeks after 3/4. I don't own $FTNT but use E reaction to trade the 2 others which I'm long.
  • woodman: @joelsg1 $FTNT $PANW $CRWD - $CYBR has been another interesting one in the sector.
  • joelsg1: @woodman I think so. LEAP expiration causes huge volatility in hot stocks where I suspect market makers (option writers) won't want to be caught short stock at close. Includes several of my posted holdings like $TSLA, $CRWD, $PLTR. Nobody ever went broke taking profits.
  • kenb: $CRWD down 3% this morning on no news, testing the 50d MVA which has been a good support level in the recent past. Watching for an add if it can level out.
  • DavidG: @kenb $CRWD $HACK and $PANW also gapped but have declined to LOD, so other cybersecurity stocks showing weakness also.
  • kenb: $CRWD added small on the test of the 50d MVA.
  • billyzeke: @kenb $CRWD Bought a little @ 350 myself.
  • Cjauger: Out of some $CASH. Trying: $SEI, $QLD, $FNGU, $CRWD, and $META. $CRWD and $META are the strongest within $FNGU
  • joelsg1: $CRWD Lost the 50d so now that I can trade rolled upcoming $330 short cash-secured puts down and out to $320s just above the 200d..
  • joelsg1: $CRWD Added on bounce off $355. Truist to $385.
  • Bert953: #Listo'Squeezes or near squeezes: $AMP $AMZN $APP $ASML $BIO $BRK/B $BURL $CRWD $DECK $FDS $ FTNT $GEV $GSOL $HUBS $MCD $MDGL $MOH $MPWR $NFLX $NOC $NTRA $ONON $SEDG $SMCI $SMH $TMO $V $WSM
