I won’t bore you with the details but to the best of Grok’s ability to find up to date debt figures this stands to be a 10-20 bagger. Something doesn’t add up with this only trading around 4 . 8 week due diligence period .

  • phgruver: @DavidK $VVPR One bit of advice I got from Jim Cramer, years ago, that has turned out to be valid in virtually every case: When you get a buy out offer, don't ask questions, don't try to game it, don't hold out for a better offer. Take the money and run!

I have built and sold 5 small businesses so have some experience ( just negotiated the sale of my wife’s 16 yr old Boutique in Jan 2025) but I can’t figure this one out and can’t find anymore info on the web

The proposal encompasses the buyout of all non-affiliated free float shares and the privatization of VivoPower (NASDAQ:VVPR), and the takeover proposal is not hostile. The company said its board is in the process of reviewing with its advisors and will provide an update to the market as soon as possible. VivoPower (VVPR) specializes in electric solutions for customized fleet applications, including off-road and on-road vehicles, and offers a suite of related services such as financing, charging, battery and microgrid solutions. On its company website, it has 4.44m shares outstanding. At $2.35/share today, the market cap is $10.34m. $120m/$10.34 =11.60 / share. I get the same math as you, might be debt obligations in the takeover proposal that is being discussed

Seems to be interest in this company’s products so someone else might get involved . Seems like a nice addition and pocket change for Musk and Tesla to diversify its product offerings .
